Keeping your mind and body in tip-top shape is essential for living your best life. It’s difficult to attain success when you’re dragging yourself through the day, feeling stressed out, anxious, and generally unwell. That’s why you need to make yourself a priority.

I have been experiments with diets and exercises to find the best for me, mentally and physically. I read a book named *the longevity diet * which basically talks about what kind of diet help you retain youthfulness.

1. Soft Drinks

Basically concentrated carbs and concentrated sugar is what soft drinks are mad of and this is one of the worst combination of food you can have. It affects your Insulin Restaince and hence can help you gain weight and a lot of medical conditions like diabetes etc.

2. Fasting

This helps you body to go into protection mode and repair a lot of damage. Recently, someone discovered that during fasting body goes under a process called autophagy in which waste cells are broken down to amino acids by the body and the same amino acids are used for building body etc. I have fasted for 48 hrs and it was one of the best thing I did. 3. Mediation

I meditate everday for 10 mins. This helps my brain to focus on things. Meditation is not thinking anything but focusing only on one thing for some time. When I mediate I focus on my nose and with time you focus increases and within 10 days you will feel the difference in quality of mediation and your daily work.

4. Exercise

I am not so active so everday in the morning or in the evening I walk for an hour. This helps to get my heart rate at around 100 which in turn decrease my glucose and doesn’t let me get fat. If you wish to reduxe weight. Walking is one of the best ways to start. I used to run earlier but then overeat so, this is my way out.

5. Sugar

Its very harmful to body if taken in large amounts. I have read reserachs in which they show that Suagr is harmful than cocaine, smoking etc. I can’t elimate sugar from my diet since I love sweet. So, I just have heavy sugar stuff twice a week and that too when I haven’t had food for last 10 hours. This helps to reduce the impact of sugar.

6. Read

Nothing stimulate your mind as much as reading something. There are various source you can Google to know the benefits of reading. So I won’t emphasis on it. I read 2 books a month.

7. Morning Routine 

Have a morning routine like after I wake up I will walk for 30 mins. When you do this repeadtly the after few days it becomes a habit and hence when I wake up my brain says go to walk. Walk helps my mind to actually wake up. Also I water my plants.

8. Enjoy

Enjoy your life. Once a week do something that makes you happy. Eg. Partying, going out wirh friends, socialise.

I have been following the above mentioned points and have lost 7 Kgs without changing my diet a lot. I sometimes eat junk food as well and yet have maintained my body.
